my dog ran away im so sad what can i do to get over it

hey. Please go to petfinder.com and go to classifieds on the top bar and look at recent posts in your state. maybe someone found her. Also if you lost her today if its like a dog. do a long scan. Start with surrounding big roads and come to a middle section. Dont be afraid to yell the name. It helps trust me.becuase sometimes the people who found her are out with out her to look for someone whos calling or searching for a dog. Ask people and post posters all aroung your town. Not just in your area because animals get far fast. if you really want her back post her pictures on dogster and on youtube like in a slide so others will see. keep up hope. Certainly I can understand your fear and sadness.
However, you should make posters and what not, and post them around town, and go to veterinary offices and post them there as well, and MOST IMPORTANTLY call your local shelters, county animal shelter, and the local the humane society.
Often times dogs run away for not being spayed/neutered, and this might be an opportunity to address that issue as well.

Don't get over it, use that sadness to GO FIND HER!!! Why are you on the PC when you could be printing posters, calling shelters, and looking for her. I wouldn't rest till I found her. I know a couple that looked for their dog for nine years before finally being reunited.

First, you need to do everything you can to find your dog. Put flyers up in your neighborhood, ask your neighbors if they have seen your dog, call the shleters and ask if it has been turned in, put an ad in the paper, they will usually run a lost dog ad for free.

FIRST call animal control in your area, post pictures with a phone number, ASPCA, and talk to local pet shops.
If you need help getting over him and have not been able to find him buy a betta fish or something at least you can care for and take care of.

well did you put up fliers around your town(you do not have to do it just once try again)...and call the local pound/shelters and you can go to petharbor.com and post it and look for him/her....people find them years sometimes later!!! do not give up hope....use the energy in finding it instead of dwelling on it!!! cheer up!! you could still find it =)
