I am not asking for definitions, I am asking for evidence. Anytime you think, feel emotions, etc. its is just neurons firing in your brain which is part of your physical body and not to be interpreted as functions of a soul. If you do not have any evidence, do not "answer", please. As for my age, I'll be 70 next march and I fail to see any connection between my age and my question, dumbo. As for the answer being in a magazine or newspaper, I would prefer for you to use your own brain, dumbo!

Biblically the "soul" your thinking of doesn't exist. It's a translation of the words Nephesh and Psuche which simply means "person", "self", "existance", and "will". It is not an animating force, but merely your physical self which has neurons and a brain. This is not to be confused with spirit (Neshama or pneuma), which refers to the breath of life of God. People often confuse and equate one's individual self and the life that animates self and assumes that self doesn't need the body or the breath of life to live.

Biblically, atleast in my interpretation, body+breath=soul. So if body and breath is seperated, the soul is in a dormant state until resurrected (either to live forever and have immortal bodies as the angels or cease existing on the New Earth).

Sometimes you need to search the scriptures deeply to shun out misconceptions and ideas of things that don't exist. Bodiless souls don't exist. That's like saying sugarfree sugar. From my point of view, this would make God seem more scientifically logical.

About ghosts and stuff. There are other explainations for them. I was taught that they are just spiritual recordings that are manipulated by angels (which are not dead people, but alien beings that existed before we did) and there are fallen angels that like to mess with our memories and imagination to have us believe things that are not true. That's my point of view though.

So from my interpretation of the bible definition fo the soul, the physical evidence of the soul is my physical self.

The Grand Portal is the prime achievement that awaits humanity in the last quarter of the 21st century. It will be the irrefutable discovery of the human soul by authoritative science. This Grand Portal will usher in a new awareness for humanity that will enable it to shift from a survival-based, mind-body energy system, to an exploratory-based, mind-soul energy system.

Your dreams are proof of your soul. Your DNA code is proof of your programmer. If you have a programmer, then you have a soul.....I think the book "My personal Journey With Astral Projection," might help you see very clearly what you seek. If you are unfamiliar with Astral Projection. It is the ability to leave your body via the soul. The Marines also teach something similar to this. That is how they teach their soldiers to ignore pain. In essence they are not ignoring the pain...they have checked out.

NO, but what makes you who you are? Your soul. You dont have to be religious to have one.

The soul is like your personality.... confussed? Well to find out the real answer one must ask themselves where is the physical evidnece of my emotions, personality, or even why do we feel happy, sad or nothing at all. We cant.

Nope. But their are urban legends like the one that a scientist wieghed a guy on his death bed. When he died he lost two ounces. RIght.... Thats a myth.

But scientists are getting to discover things about the mind that are unexplainable and very mystifying. Yet, we are still early in this.

Look at it this way. If someone dies their body is still on earth, right? but people often say 'they're not with us anymore' when they have the body. Therefore the person is not the body but the soul.

Even to this day there is no evidence of soul except false belief and teaching by religions.Life ends here on the earth.
The apparitions are only creations of abnormal people or the result of imagination.
Bible is full of contradictions and religions thrive on by instilling fear in people.
