Well, people are stupid! People have mistaken mastiffs, chow mixes, and even lab mixes for Pitts. So, since Staffies are pretty close, it doesn't surprise me in the least!

EVERYONE who owns a dog that is considered (labeled) to be vicious needs to educate themselves on BSL laws (breed specific legislation) and help to stop such laws. and unfortunately it does matter what people think your dog is. I have three Pit bull mixes and it scares me to think that there are laws out there that wont allow me to own my dogs because stupid people are to ignorant to realize that it's the assholes who raise these poor dogs to fight and be vicious. certain breeds of dogs are being banned all over the place. I guess it's easier for officials to blame a whole breed of dog then it is to realize that us humans are the reasons dogs become aggressive.

PUNISH THE DEED. NOT THE BREED

It really shouldn't matter to you, because it is your dog and you love him right? Who cares what people think. I own a pit bull and could care less what others think of him. I know what he is like and how I have raised him.

So, what is your question? Why are you worried about what breed other people think your dog is? You know, and that's all that matters.
