My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and 5 months and he is driving me insane. My Mom recently passed about 7months ago and he was really there for me. Last week his grandfather died and I'm here for him. Now his grandmother is in the hospital not doing to well. To make a long story short before all these deaths took place. He was and still is a cheap person and he says things that really hurt my feelings. I have spoken to him about it nothing as changed. I know I get on his nerves too all in all I don't say things that will hurt later. I want to leave him but its hard and I don't know if it's a good time for either one of us. I think we may need each other to lean on thru our situations. What should I do?? Any advice on how to deal with a ghetto *** sister??

Seems to me that you need to tell him that he needs to hit the roads if he doesn't respect your feelings. He isn't a good boyfriend if he's only there for you in your time of need.He should be there for every little problem in your life, not just death of your family. He needs to show you that he cares about you in every way,to the little back rubs,to making breakfast for you in the morning. If he hurts your feelings,he's not worthy of you. There are more fish in the sea that will treat you better.

The approach this screwed up tradition turns the whole thing right into a commodity and makes it so addictive - sure porn is enormously addictive - it is no marvel you're ache. It's no marvel our grandmothers warned us towards porn. Still the deed is completed and he's so hooked at the junk. So lay it at the line for him. Tell him you realize he is hooked on the junk and that he has a main issue. Tell him you're keen on him and also you wish to support him triumph over this dependancy. YES IT IS AN ADDICTION. He'll argue it's not. But it's. If he turns his again on you once you lay your center at the line for him, then unload his ***. But if he struggles and he attempts and fails and attempts....do not quit on him, good enough? It's damned nasty stuff to recover from and also you not ever particularly ever recover from it seeing that it is sort of a fashion designer drug....it is designed to latch onto the only factor that makes a male who he's. But it is certainly garbage and it is empty and it should not be allowed. And it's the fault of the tradition right here for allowing such easiness closer to it.

Obviously it is a hard for both of you and this situation is not making the times any easier. Look you need to just tell him things are hard and if he can't seem to make things easier then it is time to go your seperate ways and if you still feel like there is a chance for friendship then great cause it seems like you need the suport of friend now more than a boyfriend any way. Good luck...

It doesnt sound to me like he is a very nice person if he says mean things to you. Why feel sorry for him during any situation if he has said mean things to you? Dont worry about him, u take care of you and what you need. He will be fine. I say tell him you are tired of the relationship and why, and tell him you are sorry about his grandma but that you feel you need to move on with your life. That you will be his friend if he needs you, but as far as a relationship, its over. You deserve better. Go find it.

well you have friends so ditch him while you can honey. Friends are better than boyfriends believe me. I had such a bad experience like yours and now i am still with my s.h.i.t a$s boyfriend and he is in jail for killing my baby sis. She was 4. I can not get a divorce in dating until i reach 20. My mom warned me and told me that was how it was going to be.
