im 19 and i know that this is a very generic question, however, I like a girl at my work and i dont know how to tell her. She emails me and we talk back and forth all the time at work and on the email, however, i havent had the nerve to ask her out. im not trying to get pitty from anyone but I honestly have never been in a serious relationship. I dont know how to ask her out and what kind of words I should tell her, I was raised to be respectful to women and I dont want to just come out and say it because I do not want to disrespect her. I guess im just afraid of rejection, however, from what I have heard from other people at work, she kinda has the same feelings for me but she doesnt act like it to my face....... but any idea's are appriciated! Thank You!

My guess is she is shy or has a bf. Well one day while you are emailing or talking ask her to lunch and then at lunch casually ask her is she is seeing anyone and if not would she like to go on a date with you. Some women like it when you upfront instead of beating around the bush. Take your time with her and make sure that the feelings are mutual from both sides because an office romance if started wrong can end ugly and both of you could lose your jobs.

hmm, go steady here, cos I no a guy who is 18 and this girl the same age at work was giving him all these signals so he said to her at lunch time "how about we go out sometine". She bascially tried to give him the silent treatment and then dated the office creep all cos he tried to unzip her dress at the office Xmas party. Then one day at work this guy said to all the other workers "I'm guna go home and have a shag" - very disrespectful since they both worked in the same work place at that time.

So my advice is either try and do something cheeky to get her attention or don't do anything at all. Girls are weird, if a nice guy asks them nicely to go out, they run until they run straight into a sleaze who runs them down behind their back and is totally using them.

Good Luck

you never know until you try... just ask her to go do something, like maybe dinner... I know it's really hard to ask, but ask yourself this: Is she worth potentially facing rejection?

if the answer is yes, then you should ask her out... it's never easy, no matter how many times you do it... but eventually you'll know that she's worth it and maybe rejection isn't as bad as it sounds...
