My mom will go to the store for my grandma when she asked but not for me when I ask. She said she does it because she feels sorry for her because she can't go out and get it herself. My mom won't let me drive and I have been asking for this certain thing for days. She tells me to look in the freezer and there is plenty of food in there. I don't understand why she takes care of my granny over me? My granny has 6 other kids to take care of her, and I only have one mom.....plus I'm under 18 and have no way to go myself.

And she gets my older brother cigarettes everyday at the place across the street.....and he's 23. And she sometimes pays for them. I don't understand why she is like this.

My mom treats me differently all the time.....my other 3 siblings can do whatever they want. I can't......can't drive with friends, only drive to and from school.....not allowed to go out with friends really....i have not one friend outside of school bc of my mom. i sit inside and do homework all day while my siblings are out with their friends.

You have to grown up and realize that you are a teenager and your Granny is an older woman and probably needs caring for. If you want something why don`t you get off your butt and go get it. If you were any kind of daughter you wouldn`t bug your Mom but help her with your Granny.

She's doing those things for your grandma because you said that that she can't do them for herself. Your grandma raised your mom so it's only right that when her mom needs help she would be there for her. And I'm sure it's not that she doesnt want to do things for you but maybe she doesn't feel like you are asking for things that you really need. You are just asking for things that you want.

granny is not the issue----ur mom seems to be using this situation for leverage for some reason. there seems to be a power struggle going on here too---any clues as to why? do u have any friends who u can bumb a ride from? good luck and talk with your mom about this and the driving issue too-----

stop being such a baby, your grandma can't get out like you can, she is probably alot old er then you and unable to do alot of things for herself, maybe you should try helping her alittle more instead of whining about what you are not getting what you want. I'm sure your mother is also taking care of you. Maybe some day when you grow up alittle you will understand why your mother takes care of her mom over you right now.

Because your mom loves her mom, and it is the right thing to do. You are young and full of energy, you should be helping you mom help your granny, because if it wasn't for your granny you or your mom wouldn't be here.

Because obviously your grams needs her. Your mom has told you why, better than any of us strangers could tell you.
You can be of great help to both your mom and grams. Ask them what YOU can do to help them. I'm sure that would be very heartwarming to both of them. Do you live within walking distance to a store?

It's really called RESPECT. Honor your Mother and father. I'm sure your cousins may feel the same way a you do. I hate to sound disrespect full but you really need to grow up and see what it is your Mother is doing for her Mother.
