I heard DOD SecretaryRobert McNamara say 3.5 million

Not a bad kill ratio considering a measley 58k american superheros died. Our guys are always the superheros..the people we kill are insurgents or terrorists...no matter if they are just in the way.

What will the kill ratio be for this war? Will millions die again as we take a bad situation and make it FAR worse?

The sad fact is that of the 3.5 million, more than 2 million were civilians.

Were you there? do you have any idea on what was going on?

do you actually read books or just burn them?

those 3.5 million you are talking about are numbers that stretch back long before US involvement, many of them were killed by the North Vietnamese army.

I am so glad you considered the loss of Americans a "measly" number, because when normal rational people read this drivel they will realize people like you are ignorant, biased and petty.

if you actually went back and read history, got a little more info from the DOD and the North Vietnamese army, you will find we had been winning up until the point where American "opinion polls" forced the US to begin withdrawing forces.

I went looking for sources for you, here are some books to look in to, see you have to read them, so put the lighter away.

You might learn something.

then maybe you might actually make a rational argument rather than coming off as acting/thinking/being asinine.

Black Sabbath had it right except the numbers , it may have been as high as 6-10 million . By the US leaving south east Asia Pol Pot came to power and killed millions , OH what about the 2 million South Vietnamese killed after the US withdrew from Vietnam ( killed in reeducation camps between 75-79 ) BTW Which overbearing foreign power are you talking about the Khmer rouge or the North Vietnamese army both killed millions more than the US in a much shorter time

Peolpe in the US dont realize part of the rational for 911 and i dont want to sound radical but american foreign polocy abroad is appalling does anyone think of Panama or Guatemala ? If saudi arabia invited and endorsed the Talaban you would "intervane" and iam not saying that you deserved 911 but war can you see where the radials are coming from? And it was about American expansionism not protecting an ally did Britain intervene in the american civil war because thats what it was and they were Patriots defending their country

The numbers are skewd as body counts were exagerated and the Bad Guys (VietCong) crried their wounded and dead off to the caves.
Sorry you think 58,000 Brave Americans constitute a "Measley" Comparisn.
My suggestion is to get your woosie, liberal, cowardly, big mouthed @ss in uniform and go help all the BRAVE AMERICANS that are dying so you and your ilk, can continue to sit back, safe and sound spouting your disconent....A staunch Liberal, I see

Millions of Vietnamese people died because we invaded their home, their land, because we wanted more power. And if you ask me, the good guys one, the people of Vietnam fought for their land and they won. US had no business over there but are greed, & are desier to put a stop to communist end millions of men, women, & childrens lives.

It was like three people. Technically two because the one girl who blew herself up was pregnant and that child was not considered a person.

Your question is just to shallow and un-informed to address.

Why are you KIDS just so STUPID? Why are you KIDS just seeking so much ATTENTION with your STUPID posts? Maybe ask your parents....
