You may think this is strange, but the best thing I can recommend for you is a gum - that's right, chewing gum, made with xylitol sweetner. Xylitol has been proven to help prevent and beat ear infections and the chewing action is great for drainage of ears and sinuses.

What you want in drainage. You could also put a little tea tree or peppermint oil into your favorite moisturizer and massage from the hollow behind your ear lobe down, to help get circulation and drainage going.

You need to see a doctor as soon as you can. You do not want to take any risks on permanent hearing loss. An otolaryngologist is the ear,nose and throat specialist.

You may just have a little persistent eustachian dysfunction, there may be persistent goop in the ear, or you may have burst the eardrum. Not an emergency, but you need a followup exam.
