In Christianity and/or Catholism, what would a good symbol for Ordinary Time be?

I need help with religion homework. The only thing that comes to mind is a tree, but our teacher already used that as an example.

Maybe you could use a circle. It looks like the "O" in Ordinary and it indicates the full cycle of the year.

Or maybe something to do with counting, since the Sundays are known by their numbers. The outstretched fingers of a hand? Turning pages in a book? A circle that looks more like a clock face? An hourglass?
