I used to feel depressed a lot when I was younger. Things have been pretty good for me here lately. But starting several days ago, I've been feeling really down, like a fog in my brain that won't lift. I may not be the luckiest man alive, but I do have a job that I like (for the most part), my own house (I'm paying on), a family that cares about me (even though I'm the black sheep hehe), etc... Okay so I live alone, but I usually love that. What could be wrong with me? I don't like feeling this way.

Sometimes we just get the winter blues. I do every winter. If it doesn't get better in a few weeks, you might want to consider an antidepressant. Before you do that tho, try excercise, because it really does help. Also, they say to stand in a window and get a few minutes of morning sunlight if possible. It gets better, I know.

Maybe you just need to get out get some fresh air and sunshine and do something fun with some friends. Usually I am VERY unsociable but sometimes I feel better sitting around with people laughing (even if I am just sitting on the edge listening) you could also take a trip down to your doctors could just be a case of depression that can be fixed right up but sunshine and some exercise really can help you feel a whole lot better.

I have felt depressed for seemingly no reason at all. Usually when I do, there is an underlying reason that I'm not either aware of, or one I don't want to deal with. But I am also bipolar, and sometimes that interferes with my power of reason.
Right now, I can get depressed, and I have a good marriage, good life, (simple life, but a good one) my home is peaceful, and for the most part get along with my grown kids; and a good job, however right now I'm on workman's comp.
I remind myself what I am grateful for! I try to take "just today" and live in "just today." I hear PRAYER helps, and it does! Not being self absorbed, and doing something good/nice for someone else. (take them to lunch, and not of the opposite sex, buy yourself a gift!) Rewarding ourselves is a nec. part of life, which I actually forget to do sometimes. Anyway, try to remember what is GOOD in your life, and go for a walk, breathe in fresh air, get more air/oxygen to your brain; do affirmations; help yourself to put yourself in a better place! BE PEACEFUL!

i think that is just life sometimes it plays tricks on us.
Do you think that it could be that you have had things the same way for so long that your mind is wanting a change? if you lived with some one else you would have this foggy feeling from sharing a bath room lol. just take a min to relax for yourself do something that you used to do just because you can do it!!

Some time a little change can do a world of diffrence.

Good Luck

Maybe you need to look at your diet, health, fitness routine- are you healthy? Maybe it's time to have your blood checked for testosterone and thyroid levels.
