Do you generally see the world as...?

....a good place with a few bad people or a bad place with a few good people?

It depends on how the day goes. I am an optimist in many ways, but I would have to say... oooh, I can't choose. It is a good place when one can appreciate the beauty and wonder and ubiquity of it all rather than worshiping something that doesn't exist. It is a good place because of the energy that flows from humans who are kind, compassionate, and empathic toward one another. It is a bad place in that genocides are still committed everywhere in the name of "nationalism" (yes, America, you too). It is a bad place in that so many believe every bit of propaganda they hear as long as it comes from someone who practices the same religion. This is why we've teetered on the brink of fascism for the past seven years.

Seriously, I cannot decide between the two. Stop flummoxing me! =) I have been fortunate enough to find the love of my life in this stretch of the universe, so "a good place with a few bad people" may be more apropos - but there are definitely bad places throughout.

Thank goodness for the good 'uns.

For the most part I see it as a good place with a few bad people. Although some days that thinking is reversed.
