He was never unequal to God. While on earth He was full God and full man. Jesus chose not to use His divinity while on earth. But He was still tempted by Satan as a man.

God is God He is never changing.
You know the phrase "I Am".

The whole concept of the trinity confuses the hell out of me. I don't understand why Christianity is considered a monotheistic religion in the first place. We might as well go back to the days of Horus, Osiris, Isis etc.

I don't understand. If there is one creator why can't it be left at that? If there was ever a man named Jesus who walked the earth, I strongly doubt his divinity.

And I mean no disrespect to his character. I like the idea of him. He was a rebel. A non-conformist....I like that. But he never founded a church or wrote any sacred books. Everyone is scratching their heads in terms of evidence of his existence, and everything he supposedly said is second-hand information to us.

If there is a God there is one God. I just cannot grasp the trinity concept.

Doesn't make sense, Wright. Just seems silly to me that someone can think that god have a son. Why would god need a son. Birth and so are made for humans (animals and so) Not for a god. Think people god gave u minds to use them.

It was all a ruse. Jesus was God. God took the form of Jesus to check out his creation; born of a virgin, healing powers, etc.
I'll bet he didn't feel a thing when they whipped him and strung him up on the cross, unlike the other two nearby.

That doesn't seem logical, if you think lots of people go to heaven and presumably are still not equal with God.

No, whilst Jesus prayed, He exchange into praying to the father. whilst He exchange into right here, on earth, He exchange into performing because of the fact the father's representative (perfect words i will arise with). The Gospel of John supplies assorted sunshine in this undertaking. Jesus in no way did something on a whim, you may say: each thing He did exchange into in stay overall performance with the father's will. Jesus gave a "thumbnail comedian strip" approximately what He, the father, and the Holy Spirit could do as quickly as Jesus left this earth. you will discover greater approximately that for the period of John's gospel, chapters 14-sixteen. One very final incident ought to nail it down, so which you ought to communicate: study John financial ruin 17. the entire financial ruin archives Jesus' longest prayer--and He prayed to the father. So specific, Jesus exchange into and is God, even after He took a physique, as quickly as and for all time, whilst He got here to this earth. He could in no way pray to Himself because of the fact He took the region of submissiveness to the father's will. it fairly is so deep, I even have hassle information it! yet are not you happy He died and rose returned, so as that we could have salvation?
