This is true, your lungs will be chrystalized., I know because i visited LDS-Hospital recently and they had lungs from deceased persons on display in one of the conference rooms.

It listed the length of time the person had smoked, what type of cigarette (regular-menthol) and some even listed the brands.

Those lungs that had been used for menthol smokes, were horrible looking things, as compared to regular smokes lungs. Some had holes rotted clear through to the outside of the lung.

The menthol actually chrystallizes the interior of the lung. They were really nasty looking and at one point i thought i was going to puke when i was looking at them. They had about 30 sets of lungs on display cases in that conference room it was a permanent exhibit.

When one get's older and starts having major problems from smoking, the people that smoked menthols, really have a very bad time of it as compared to the people who smoked regular smokes.

I just picked up 4 boxes of patches I smoke and i'm definately going to quit. I have 2 packs of smokes left, i'll finish them by tomorrow and start the patches.
