They don't ... but that's not the reason people get married. My fiance and I have agreed not to have sex until after we are married. We decided this mutually because we did not want our relationship to be based on sex or physicality. We wanted our relationship to be based on love, respect, friendship and honesty. Some people do not want or believe in waiting to have sex until after marriage. For those of us who do want to save that part until marriage, it doesn't matter about what the groom looks like down there ... it's more about the love and emotional connection as opposed to the physical.

Assuming that this question isn't being asked out of pure stupidity, then I will have to say that the bride assumes that her loving fiance would tell her if there is anything she needs to know prior to the wedding night! Marraiges are about honesty remember!

Some people have physicals (performed by a medical doctor) before marriage.
Other people are able to contain themselves and get a preview before activities commence.
AND some people are not concerned, and will love their spouse no matter what.
