No, sex should be taken serious, its a tool that you use when you find that special someone and so you would like to show love in a different kind of way. 13 is too young, just focus on your studies and do what feels comfortable to you. Enjoy your life and do things at your own pace. Dont rush, your 13, you have your whole life ahead of you to enjoy your LOVE life.
P.S. he already lived his life the way he wanted to, I think you should do the same.

It is cool that he can talk to you and let you know that if you are going to have sex he will get you condoms..
This talk should have been at 15 or 16 and little more discouraging.
If you are going to have sex use a condom, but better yet Wait is what he should have said.
You shouldn't lose your virginity soon.....there is no set time when it has to be done by. Your choice.....

it's not even close to being right. a friend of my son's dad took him to a hooker when he was 16 because he thought he was a sissy because he thought he hadn't had sex yet and this kid has been messed up in the head about it ever since. now he has problems w females that he never had before his dad got involved in an area he had no business in , other than to advise care, caution and discretion, and 13 is a bit young anyway, sounds like your dad has issues.
