Everything worked fine for the past few years. I recently moved my tv to my office, and the remote won't work unless it is right against the tv. There are new batteries in the remote. It worked the same day I moved it. What kind of interference could there be? I have base-board heat, and a powered antenna. Ideas?

The heat will do it, It's IR,, that's infra-red,, or near red,,, acts like a jammer. Direct sunlight on the small receiver on the front of the TV will also jam it.
