No you won't damage your hair any more than you will mixing only one color. 20 volume is a lift and deposit processor. Depending on your natural hair color and the colors you are mixing together you may only want to use a 5 or 10 volume. They are designed especially for depositing color into your hair. Why use something stronger if you don't have to? Make sure you chose a base color that is opposite from you natural color. It needs to counteract what you already have. For instance if you have an ash base in your hair, you can use bases that are red or neutral. If you use an ash based color on your already ash based hair, your hair will have a green (unhealthy) tone. Good luck!

Wow, I am thinking yes. You are playing with chemicals here and these should not be mixed. And if you are lightening your hair there already is peroxide in the dyes. Well...as far as I know.

Jenny, properly it relies upon because in case your hair is darker than the coloration you opt for to attain, then 20 Vol (6%) won't be able to carry the coloration adequate. by blending better than one tint with 20 Vol is very nice. If by any possibility your hair Is darker, then you definitely favor to pre-lighten your hair first, then persist with the coloration you opt for to origionally benefit. fairly with reds because they choose the lightest undercoat as plausible to attain the genuine tone of the pink. Any questions in any respect please be at liberty to invite by emailing me and growing a member of my mailing record! sturdy success!
