Oh ye of little Faith it is said ( the New testament specks of him as an actual person and one whom preached " righteousness " to his generation ) God has Sealed his Covenant w/ him by the sign of the rainbow ( But I guess it was man made as well as the story was fiction) . Noah lived near the Garden of Eden in the land of Nod in which the present old or new bible specks not of ( ? ) after the flood but only that the "Bout rested " in the Mountain of Ararat ; The text says mountains, which indicates a range of mountains & not necessarily one peak, the ark rested 74 days after the end of the 150 days while the water receded; the duration was 371 days. Genesis: 7:16- Ch:8:5; Bless Every word to be unto the Father, Son & the precious name of the Holy ghost Amen ......

The atmosphere of earth has changed at some point since the era of dinosaurs.. If one were to be transported from its era to ours it likely wouldn't last very long. The Biblical reason for this is due to the account of the flood of Noah. The deluge of rain is said to come from the collapse of the firmament mentioned in Genesis. The firmament had surrounded the earth much like the ozone layer does now.. protecting the earth and making the atmosphere very much like inside a greenhouse. It caused a different air pressure that allowed for longer life spans. Certain creation scientists have conducted experiments with hyperbaric sealed contraptions and various kinds of wildlife concerning this theory and found it to be feasible. This idea is better than what you propose.

No one knows, the reality is after the Flood the entire face of the Earth may have changed, especially concerning bodies of water.

An excellent example is people assume the Garden of Eden was located somewhere in the Middle East because two of the rivers mentioned in it are there. But who can say that the Euphrates and Tigris rivers of today are the same as the one's of the pre-Flood.

The ark floated upon the seas for over a year, in a year one can travel round the world.

According to tradition Noah's home was at Fara on the Euphrates, about 70 miles NW of Ur, the future home of Abraham, and Eridu, the traditional garden of Eden. This was the land of Sumer in southern Mesopotamia.

Some consider the plateau of Pamir to be the original Eden. This probably was the homeland of Adam's descendants up until the time of the Flood. Today it’s known as the Tarim Basin or Eastern Turkestan. This region is surrounded by a ridge of very high mountains forming a gigantic basin in the midst of them. It measures 1,000 miles long and is about 350 miles wide.

Some people believe that the force of the flood actually separated Pangaea, so he wouldn't have really lived anywhere before the flood.

He lived on a mountain/hill top with Enoch, Seth and the other children of Adam. Noah and a few others left it to go build the ark after a lot of them went down the mountain to be with Cains decedents.

Peace!
The story of Noah is a myth picked up by Jewish writers after the exile. Noah is therefore a fictional character. The stories in Genesis 1-11, which includes the story of creation, are all myths. They are parables. They are best read in the same level they were written - spiritual. If you do this, God will speak to you through the pages of the Bible.
