I have scoliosis, so my back tends to hurt significantly after exercise if I do things like sit ups. However I would like to be able to get a flatter stomach. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it even possible to concentrate on my stomach without situps? I currently do the push bike, treadmill and stepper, as well as a little bit of hand weights, lunges, squats etc.

Why don't you try "crunches", which directly exercises your abdominal muscles without undue use of your back? What you do in a sitting position and "crunch" your abdomen, tensing them, but without actually flexing very much. Kind of like an isometric exercise. Lots of variations on this idea, you can do this practically anywhere. It's important that you do sort of mentally try to bring your chest and hips together, even though the movement is slight.

it truly is about the basically wy you're going to get an noticeably flat abdomen. in case you don't like doing sit ups, do them little through little. Do some each and every morning, day and evening previously going to mattress. ingesting countless water also facilitates. yet you need to be in good structure, all round once you try to attain a flat abdomen.
