great abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym.

you can not spot reduce fat, you need to decrease your body fat percentage. a healthy diet with plenty of protein, low GI carbs and plenty of healthy fats will accomplish this.

through diet and exercise you will increase your resting metabolic rate and you will burn more stored fat at rest.

Hmm. My gymnastics teacher suggested a new kind of sit-up. They're not crunches-they're V-ups. Lie down on the floor with your arms and legs straight out. Bring your arms and legs up and to the center of your body, keeping them straight, so that you look like a "V" or a check mark. Then bring your body flat onto the floor again, but make sure you put your hands and feet down lightly without making a big bang (this takes more muscle work).

This is an extremely difficult kind of sit-up. I did twenty and started tiring. Good luck!
