I am 24 and just diagnosed with crohns 6 months ago. I try to avoid anything acidic. Most fruits usually bother me although papaya is supposed to be good for crohns. Spices are really bad(Cinnamon, pepper,etc.). Try to avoid anything that is really high in fat. Sometimes it is to hard to break down and can cause lots of pain. Avoid alcohol. Even beer can make you gassy and cause lots of pain. Hmmmm.... I am trying to think of anything else. Fiber is very painful. Avoid anything high in fiber. Try eating lean white meats and fish. Avoid vegetables that make you gassy (broccoli, beans). I know sounds like everything. Hang in there. You'll get used to it. I hope this helped. Oh! Make sure you take Super omega 3-6-9. Or fish oils. This will really help with digestion. I can tell when I don't take it.

Fish is predominantly the easiest to eat for most people with Crohn's disease. some things to make it easier is to drink a lot of water with meals, take smaller bites, eat lots of small meals instead of big ones. try to avoid fatty foods (butter, anything fried, etc.), alcohol, caffeine, and high fiber foods. make sure to take supplemental vitamins, especially B12, because your small intestine is responsible for the body's supply, so if its not working, your bones will become brittle and you could develop pernicious anemia

My cousin has crones. I am sorry. I wish you all the best. She had no problem eating fish, but everything else hurt. I wish I could be more help, but I would go to www.ask.com and type it in. Good luck to you.
