I have a friend who lives in Vietnam, but its hard for her to come to America just to visit becuase she has to go through all different kinds of things, like interviews and she pays money for this and if she doesnt pass she doesnt go. I was wondering if Its easier for her to fly to Puerto Rico instead of the US? I dont know if its the same...I know you need a visa and passport no matter where you go but I was wondering if it's any different.

You would be dealing with the same issues in Puerto Rico since the customs, security, etc. will all be the same. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. Even if you were to fly to Canada or Mexico, you would still have to deal with U.S. customs and immigration at the U.S. border. Sorry, no shortcuts. Good luck with your friend.

There would be no difference having your fly to Puerto Rico. It is a territory of the United States and has the same entry requirements.

You still have to go through US Customs and Immigration in order to go to Puerto Rico so it's just the same as going anywhere else in the country
