ok so i started smoking weed just cuz my friends were doing it, and two days ago i stoped because i didn't like the kind of person i was turning into. I am afraid of the damage that the weed might of done to me, i smoked like 8 times over the past two months. Is there anyway i can clean out my system and my lungs to be normal again, i feel very bad for allowing myself to do this horrible thing

First good for you stopping! Get some good exercise and eat right all the THC in your system will be gone In a few days. The "harm" for 8 times is really minimal, so don't be worried about that. The thing you must do is make sure you don't do things just because your friends are. The best bet is to stay away from people who will influence you to be someone you are not. Some "pot smoking people" will still hang out with you if they are true friends otherwise let them go. By the way if you are with someone who is a pot smoker and you know they have drugs on them you could possibly {although not likely} be charged if they get busted. good luck to you and I hope you continue to make better choices.

Congratulations on coming to your senses!

Okay, so you have things in your system that don't belong there. Drink lots of water: That will help flush lingering toxins out. And if your friends made you smoke weed in the first place, then you might want to consider getting different friends, ones who will do fun things with you that WON'T hurt you.

You might want to take a look at green tea and a work-out program: Green Tea is reputed as being a good de-tox, and the exercise will make your body become stronger. And take up time that would otherwise be spent getting in trouble.

Good luck! I'll be cheering for you!

Everybody makes mistakes. The important thing is to learn from them.

After a couple of months, most of the THC (active ingredient in weed) has flushed out of the body. The damage from smoking (weed or tobacco) occurs after prolonged use.

well the first thing you can do is not do it again .and thats really good you realized it was a bad decision to have tried it .as far as it having damaged your lungs or your system just stay away .I don't think doing it did any damage maybe if you kept smoking it .I would say eat healthy stay away from weed and you'll be good I wish you luck!!

Good job on stopping. Just let nature run its course and the chemical THC will work its way out of your body. Smoking it 8 times should not cause any long term effects you just probable lost a few brain cells.

we all get caught up with other people doing things we end up trying at one time or another but it takes 30 days to get it out of your system it wasn't enough to damage your lungs to the point your talking about at least you relized it before you really messed up there are worse things in life you could have been doing

drink tons of water. if your family smokes (cigarettes) stay away. If you are really serious check your house for radon, a type of gas, where sometimes it can be the equivalent of smoking a pack of cigarettes a day. Sadly, that damage can't really be undone. But the most important thing is you stopped. i'd give you a high five if i could lol. if you are healthy, after a while it isn't that big of a deal. jog, jumprope. hope i helped. :)

your lungs will be fine. they are just like the rest of your body. if you have an ulcer in your digestive lining, are you scarred for the rest of your life? no because your body fixes itself. as long as you didnt destroy too many brain cells (which cant be produced by your body anymore...yet), your lungs will completely repair themselves and be like new or at least as good as they can be with all the pollution. in other words, your lungs will be fine as long as you dont smoke anymore.

Your lungs will cleanse themselves over time. You didn't smoke that much so don't worry about it. Don't let your friends talk you into doing something you don't want to do.

Your lungs are going to be the way they are, you cant change those. and as far as your system....from a former pot smoker, drink LOTS of clear liquids. and as far as feeling bad for doing a horrible thing, dont. you are human, lots of people do things just to try them. and at least you quit doing it.
