Has anyone here ever suffered eye damage from lasers or high intensity LED's?

I've been to quite a few clubs where lasers and other high intensity lights are used to highlight the music. I've even seen them "scan" the crowd with the lasers. I've seen some intoxicated clubbers even practically stare into the things. Have you ever personally known anyone who has had vision damage from these things? There must be a few people :-(

It depends. Lasers like the ones in laser pens can do major damage to the eye.

The lasers in clubs I'm not so sure about, because they are more like just focused light rather than lasers. If it is REALLY a pinpoint laser, then yes it can do some damage.
