try looking up the newspaper article on it. You'll have to know the name of the paper. They have websites and you can usually order back issues of the paper.

The only answer is...You must go to the Town Hall of the place of the accident if the death occurred there. If the death occurred in a hospital outside of that town, You must go to that town's town hall. The key is you need to be in contact with the records clerk where the death occurred.

Google it. Write the name of the person between inverted commas, and add words like car crash and newspaper. It should eventually take you to the online article in a newspaper.
You could also do a google search writing the name of the person between inverted commas and the word obituary or obituaries and see where it leads you.

You have allot of homework to do, but you may first try by the location and then archives with the New Papers in that area. The obituary will have dates as well.
It is allot of work to thumb through microfiche, but it can be found.

All you need to do is call the town newspaper near where the accident happened, give them the date...and ask them how you would retrieve a copy of that article.

best bet is to check the library and look thru old newspapers (they have a machine for it) to find the obit. It should contain most of the general info, and you can widen your search from there
