We know absolutely nothing about what happens to a person after they die, except of course that life here goes on, and that person's body decomposes and is recycled into the earth.

Personally i believe that when you die it becomes just as it was before you were born... an absence of consiousness... nothing, you're dead and that's it.

But what if there is something? Considering it's something we have absolutely no insight on emperically speaking i would wager that our experiences in this life ammount to absolutely bupkis in this hypothetical afterlife. Kind of like a reincarnation sans karma. If we have no way of knowing what's on the other side it seems only logical that this life has nothing at all to do with what happens afterwards, be it some sort of other existence, or even total nonexistence.

Your thoughts?

I think the only thing that is important to this life is how you live it. Everyone leaves some sort of something behind when they die, whether it be an impression, example, or a legacy.
The Buddists tell a story that everyone in the world is a small link to a large chain in life. Everyone one is responsible for keeping their link polished and clean because this in turn makes your neighbor polish and clean theirs. And it goes the opposite way as well. If you live a negative life what kind of example do you leave for the ones that come after you or even before you.
So yes, I do believe that something amounts to something. And if it isn't outside of this world then it definitly stays inside here someway or another.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

the electricity that runs your nervouse system becomes set in a state that when the flesh dies the electrical side of things can stay in its for of human shape and still function in moderation.. thats what a ghost is but not all ov it would stay functional but some things like memorys are burnt in and things like your children or offspring would still be there and you can watch over them and sometimes influance what happends to them when they need it most by things like if they are about to have a car crash you can put the thought into there head to apply the brakes a second before they see or figure out whats going on and all they think is wasnt i lucky i had my foot on the breaks at that moment..we call that luck and watching out for your kin while in that side effect left overs of a human we call the afterlife is called..heavan.

faith sells the perception which you get a 2d risk to stay your existence back. they do no longer choose human beings to attain that with out the human physique which you circulate away at the back of for the undertaker, you may no longer consume, drink or do any of the flaws which you elect to do. yet they assemble $ninety 5 billion in annual donations and once you die, they understand which you would be able to no longer come back and ***** that they made all of it up. while Pope John Paul became shot, he knew that there have been 50 Cardinals waiting to take his place, yet particularly of going to heaven and it is so-suggested as rewards, he suggested, "forget approximately that non secular crap and get me a doctor, rapid!" dying is very final, like it or no longer.

Of course there is something after death. It is as simple as this: If you believe in Jesus Christ and except him as your personal Savior and you believe that He died on the cross for your sins, then you will live in everlasting glory. You will have joy for the rest of eternity. But if you do not except Him, you will burn in hell. And when the second coming happens, then you will be thrown into the lake of fire for the rest of eternity. The Bible tells you exactly what will happen, I highly recommend that you read it and get saved. Jesus loves you.

I don't think anything happens other than energy and matter getting recycled. But we live on in our deeds, and in the memories of those we touched.
