She said she wanted me to grow up and figure myslef out, and she wanted to be single for a while and take some time off. She also said she doesnt want to be with anyone else, and wants to be with me eventually. So should i tell her that i got the job ive been wanting, or tell her when my sister has her baby?Im even thinking about valentines day, should i just give her a simple card?Please this 23 year old needs some womanly advice!!

I suggest not making all these things apparent when you two talk on the phone or in person unless she asks about how your life is going.
Dont give her anything for valentines day because you two are broken up now: she might get the wrong idea and think you are chasing after her.
Remember, the whole reason why she broke up with you was because she wanted to date other people and see how it was without you.
Dont be her little lap dog. Make your own life without her and she'll realize how much she misses having you around. BUT you must know that its not a sure thing you two will get back together.
Since she broke up for that reason, it was because the spark had someone vanished and she became interested in others, so dont get your hopes up.
Why dont you look for others to date as well?

From one 23 year old to another...it is hard when you have such a long history....I get the feeling you guys were best friends...I'd say tell her about the job and your new niece or nephew when it arrives and as for Valentine's Day, that's tough...you could be like..I know we're on a break, but I'm still thinking of you and I still love you....

You know whats funny thats what my GF said man. She told me she doesnt love anymore but then tells me I am the only guy for her. We are still friends I guess even though it kills me cuz i love her a lot but damn girls never make up their mind. But for you yeah you should keep in touch i mean if you like her or love her which ever it would be nice to be friends or stay in touch with her. you dated for like 3 years and thats a lot soo keep in touch i bet she would like to know whats going on.
