Do you know the meaning of the word "gullible"? Most atheists are the polar opposite of "gullible". They see no evidence for the existence of a god, and cannot believe in one based solely on the ancient writings of a bunch of men (no women, mind you) who were possibly well meaning, most probably self-righteous, and perhaps even delusional.
Why do so many religious fanatics believe that THEIR god is the only one and that everyone else will go to THEIR version of hell?
Although I'm not sure of the source, I heard recently that Yasser Arafat said, "Religious war is nothing more than two groups of people arguing over whose invisible friend is bigger."
A belief in a god of any kind requires faith, because you cannot prove the existence of a deity. Most atheists don't believe because they don't see any evidence, and for whatever reason, are not willing or able to have faith in a diety that allows, for example, the sexual abuse of thousands of children the world over - not to mention torture, starvation and death by hideous disease.
If there is a "GOD", I am really mad at him or her. We have to stop thinking that a god can make things right and do more for our fellow man ourselves, without worrying about whether or not the other guy is in our tribe or not.
More evil has been committed in the name of "GOD" than you could stand to hear about, whether you believe in Jehovah, Christ, Mohamed, Buddha, any of the Hindu gods, or in giant, omniscient blue teddy bears. If you are truly honest with yourself, you will know most of the world's religious fanatics are behaving in ways that would be found appalling by those very same gods.

1) Gullible how? They're skeptics. That's the opposite of gullible.
2) I agree. Why would God create atheists, or Christians, or Jews, when he knows they are going to end up in Hell! You'd think God would have made sure everyone was Mormon so everyone could get into Heaven.

Many ask, "How can a loving God send someone to hell?" With equal fairness, the better question that should be asked is, "How can a holy and righteous God allow a sinful person into heaven?" Ultimately, the issue becomes the following: each individual must deal with the fact that they have their own choice of where they want to go.

It is my opinion God made man equally and man has the right to choose, even beliefs. Weather a person agrees or disagrees with posts a person asks here in Q&A a question about religion & Spirituality... and how people answers the question is a matter of choice.
Many arguements about predestination in spiritual matters will almost always get conflicting comments. By living according to your beliefs daily is foremost in YOUR life and OURS. Rarely will a doctrine teach hatered towards mankind as a whole but targets religions and that is sad.

Atheists are so gulible because they aren't strong enough in the mind to keep satan from completelt controling them. and just because an atheist doesn't go out and kill, maim, and destroy, doesn't mean that they aren't completely under satans control. these atheists could treat every body like gold and be the nicest people in the world, as long as they don't believe in the true God and his son Jesus is all satan wants because people will see that this person is atheist and is a good person an it will lead others away from God and to hell and that is exactly what satan wants.

You are the one who is gullible, that is tie up and been brainwashed all of your life.... My Darline boy, I broke out and found reality. heaven, Hell, God, devil, is all a story, not truth... Ask your self that question again and you will see why I don't believe in god.

The Creator creates everything to have a life experience even the trees and grass you walk on. And there is NO hell to go to, this would contradict the whole life learning experience.

Your second statement is proof positive that your stupid God cannot exist. All all loving God WOULDNT create something and damn it to Hell.

Why are christians so gullible? And why did God create them if SHE knows they're going to hell?
BTW im Pagan, i cant stand holier than thou christians, theyre the salt of the Earth (they destroy the Earth as salt does)
Salt makes ground into deserts, according to science.
