Nothing is definite at this point in time. Timothy and you have so much awaiting both of you in the future. Timothy has college and football to look forward to. He may be picked up by a pro team if he's lucky.

I assume you are a senior now and are preparing for graduation. You are probably on the college search phase if you haven't been accepted by now. Think about the new environment, the new challenges, the excitement of meeting lots of people, learning, adventures, and pure college fun!

Timothy will also be living this kind of life. Imagine the benefits of experiencing all of the above and returning to your home town, meeting Timothy and comparing notes with him? You'll have tons to share . . . BUT only if you allow yourselves the freedom to experience the future.

Basically, you'll hear 'If you're meant for each other, you'll end up together no matter what happens." I'll attest to this. So give yourselves a chance to grow separately . . . it's better than holding each other back.

I know this is probably not what you want to hear. I've been there and I KNOW THAT GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT!

That is a really tough question, You have already survived prejudice ppl. you love seems real. I think if he does ask you to marry him it will be after he's through school & on his feet. Or I guess he could ask before he goes away & you'll have a long engagment. Either way best of luck.
