I wanna make an amv to post on youtube but movie maker files won't work D; .

Open them on Movie Maker then File > Save as Movie File or something and you can upload them :)

You have to create your movie file (wmv or avi)... I think there is a thin called Create Movie or something in movie maker after you construct your timeline.
edit: its in step three : Finish movie
Choose Save to my computer and choose a profile you want to use. Let hte program create your movie file and then you can upload that file to youtube
