i actually opened the link and was rewarded with some very nice pictures...good stuff i can share with my grandchildren, thankyou.
you are trying different things with your photography and learning. you have lovely eyes like my wife's and two of my granddaughter's, beautiful hair like my wife's, and i think talent.
continue to experiment...take some classes (we all take classes, whether we want to or not or need to or not, it is just the nature of the muse within us that compells us to take classes, sometimes our spouse will enroll us in classes and tell us that we start a new class tomorrow, and to get some rest)
(ya think i may be speaking from some experience here, eh?)
and most of all keep enjoying what you're doing that shows.

The pix of your niece are mundane. Also, underexposed mainly.

The shots of your hair are the most interesting. Keep doing stuff like that with the macro. The bees didn't grab me but the hair did. You found a different way to show it. You have a good eye, just remember we all love our neices and take photos like those. They are family pix with no value to anyone else.
(Even Eliott Erwitt's photos of his grandkids are boring.)

I've been shooting for many years. contact me thru yahoo if you wish.

Good luck

that's a pretty little girl and you could get some great pics. You neeed to work on getting her doing natural normal things, not looking at the camera and in natural light. If you have an 8 foot ceiling you might try a hot shoe flash tipped at the ceiling. Most of your pics are good but have lighting problems........and oh yes...the hair is beautiful...........

If you took those photos of the butterflies, bees etc, then you have quite a talent for photography. I love the shot of the close up of half your face with your eye looking up to the corner.

You catch some nice moments. One thing to really watch out for is you're cropping your images in the wrong places. Check out a couple of books on posing. Even if you are only shooting candid photography it will help you out immensely.

well, you're off to a good start if you want to pursuit photography, I especially liked the photos of your eyes. I commented on a few, and if you like, you can add me as a contact on Flickr.

Pretty good.
Lauren is not the best subject, regardless of how much you love her.
Get some depth of field in the nature shots.
DON'T cut your hair.
