Hello I've been wondering for ages what does "wasalu" mean so if anybody knows please let me share your knowledge !

Wasalu: the densely forested region spanning southern Mali and neighboring Guinea. 1.)
The meaning of territorial name is often lost in time - or does not reached net yet. Sorry no idea what the word as such means.

It is a name used by Muslims and means warrior in Arabic.
