GRILLED CHICKEN BREASTS

3 lg. garlic cloves, peeled
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. whole grain mustard
1/4 c. cider vinegar
Juice from 2 limes
4 tbsp. olive oil
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Place chicken in marinating pan. Add remaining ingredients to blender container and process until smooth. Pour marinade over chicken, coating all pieces. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours and up to 48 hours, turning occasionally. Let stand 15 minutes at room temperature. Drain chicken, discarding marinade and grill over hot coals for 5 minutes on each side, or until juices run clear.

I do grilled chicken in my toaster oven. Slice the chicken quite thin (or it won't cook well). I then use sweet chilli sauce and lemon juice and make a marinade (or buy a marinade you think looks nice from the store) and sit the chicken in the marinade in a bowl in the fridge - covered in plastic wrap for an hour or so). I then lay it on foil and grill away.

The other nice way is to steam the chicken (or fish if you like it) over boiling water on your stove top in a chinese steamer (a few dollars from the store or chinese shop) with some vegetables and serve with soft noodles or rice or just by itself with some soy or dipping sauce... because if it's cold outside you don't want to be eating salads every day. It is soft and nice and you don't need any oil or fat to cook it in. However, the chicken is also very good done this way for putting in salads - try it with mango slices - very nice!

Wow, you can't be Canadian if your scared of a little chilly weather. I BBQ'd last week in -25! To get some good flavour that won't bore you, BBQ is the way to go. Do a huge batch so you only have to do it once and freeze the rest.
Marinate boneless/skinless thighs (or breasts, make sure they are thinner though so they don't burn before they're done) in Kraft sweet onion vinigrette. BBQ on medium heat and sprinkle with steak spice. When cooled, slice and use for salads, pasta dishes, sandwiches, whatever you like! Beside shivering in the cold will burn some calories! Sanding in front of the hot BBQ will keep you reasonably warm too, just don't pick a super windy day!

Ok...here is what you do... After the shrimp is peeled, deveined, and rinsed, pat it dry. Put it in a bowl and toss it with 2 capfuls of Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb. Grill it outside on the grill, inside with a grill pan, or just cook it in a skillet with a little nonstick spray. Cook it about 2-3 minutes per side (depending on the size of the shrimp). Toss some pasta with olive oil, parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper and then top it with the shrimp, or toss the shrimp with the pasta...Quick, easy, and really yummy! Enjoy!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMmw3

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Well, grilling is the best. A convection oven will take a long time to cook without getting up to the right temp to safely rid the meat of all the potential salmonela.

There are lots of options to prepare chicken. Sea salt with a bit of dried rosemary, sliced oranges or lemons placed atop the chicken while it cooks, white wine and shallot sauce.

ok i eat a lot of chicken myself and this really is low and fat is healthy but good and helps you loss weight.there are soooo many ways to cook chicken its unbelivable.this are my different ways i eat chicken
1)if you have a forman grill that works. It cooks chicken in like 10-14 mins tops and its really good with simple potatoes and peas or carrots
2.you can make your own fried chicken.just take chicken and dip it in egg and bread crums with seasonings and bake it for like 30 -45mins and its not greasy, its very lite.it goes good with veggis
3.you can use a crockpot.its makes so many choices. you can do plain old simple veggis and chicken and broth or you can make this sauce that has plum and onion soup(it makes a sweet and sour sauce) and cook it with big chunks of chicken it is sooo good its unbelivable
4.you can make really low fat pizza that is verrry tasty.buy store made pizza dough.either in a box or already made. put little sauce on it but enough to were its not dry if you no wat i mean, and add spinach and fetta.it is really good.or you can make mexican pizza with chedder cheese and olives and chicken that is seasoned with taco powder.it only takes 30-45 mins to make.
5. and if your on the go you can make a quick chicken salad. i love chicken salad on white or wheat toasted bread.cause its warm but still has the crunch.it goes great with peaches

Well just put it in a pan and cook it as long as you don't put grease on it it will be fine. ALso putting it in a conventional oven will work too. Also you can cut it up into small chunks and mix with Some light Mayo and celery and make chicken salad.

Get a George Foreman indoor grill. It is great. Yes, you can bake in a toaster oven. Or cut up and stir fry/saute.

Season with lemon pepper or taco seasoning, or old bay, etc (whatever you like)
Either put in the george foremen or toatser oven. Or cut into little strips and saute in a pan with a little olive oil or Pam.

I also poach mine in some chicken broth and cut up for chicken salad. Here is a recipe for that one.

Southwestern Chicken Salad
Chicken breast with mayo, celery, cilantro and taco seasoning for that Southwestern flair.
2 boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and cubed
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped celery chopped fresh cilantro to taste
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix

1 In a medium bowl, combine the chicken, mayonnaise, celery, cilantro and seasoning mix. Mix well.
2 Cover bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Servings: 2
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ready in: 1 hour and 10 minutes

Here is a simple and tasty grilled chicken recipe:

Chipotle-Lime Grilled Chicken
Smoky chipotle marries lime juice and mild honey in this irresistible chicken dish, perfect for your next barbecue.
Source: Gourmet June 2006
Cooks' note:
If you aren't able to grill outdoors, chicken can be cooked in batches in a hot, lightly oiled, well-seasoned large (2-burner) ridged grill pan over moderate heat, about 15 minutes (before brushing with sauce).

1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup olive oil
2 1/2 Tbs chipotle Tabasco
3/4 tsp salt
6 large skinless boneless chicken thighs (2 1/2 lb total)
2 tsp mild honey
1 Prepare grill for cooking over direct heat with medium-hot charcoal (moderate heat for gas).
2 While coals are lighting, stir together lime juice, oil, Tabasco, and salt in a liquid-measuring cup. Put chicken in a large sealable bag and add 1/3 cup marinade (reserve remainder in cup). Seal bag, forcing out excess air, and marinate chicken at room temperature, about 15 minutes. Stir honey into remaining marinade until dissolved to make sauce.
3 Grill chicken (discarding marinade in bag) on lightly oiled grill rack, covered only if using a gas grill, turning chicken over occasionally and moving it to avoid flare-ups if necessary, until just cooked through, 8 to 10 minutes total.
4 Brush both sides of chicken with some of reserved sauce, then continue to grill, turning over once, until lightly browned, about 1 minute more. Serve chicken drizzled with remaining sauce.
Servings: 6
