Have a quick question for you guys. I was in a store today looking at something on a counter, when I noticed a guy walking behing me. The side of his face, his cheek to be more precise, grazed the back of my head, as i felt my hair move. I looked, and the side of his cheek had blood on it, like a scab but it also looked fresh. Do I have anything to worry about? Is it possible that, if the man had HIV and let's assume he does, the blood from his face could rub off and stick in my hair? Will it bond with the hair? Will taking a simple shower rise it out, or do I need to cut out the part that was touched, or get a haircut all together? Please help, I am freaking out.
Thanks

When it comes to blood, it's blood to blood contact. When blood touches an open wound or a mucous membrane and that blood is infected with HIV, that's a risk. So if you got his blood up inside your nose, in your anus (sorry...it's just an example of a mucuous membrane), or on an open cut, there's a chance of infection. But your hair? No shot. Where do you shop anyway that people are bleeding and rubbing up against you?

Hair is dead so no absorbtion of the blood or bonding don't eat the hair just take a shower and you will be fine. Stab that son of a bi1ch or at least beat him up.

You should probably use anti-bacterial shampoo for a few months, just in case. But you should have nothing to worry about.
