blonde and red highlights look awesome on people with light-medium brown hair but if you have dark brown hair it'll make it look messy...try a bright bronze if you have drk brwn hair.

I get strawberry-blonde and red highlights in medium brown hair and I think it looks good. I get lots of compliments on it when the colors are fresh. Red fades quickly, though, so you end up with two colors of blonde highlights. Which isn't bad either.

I had a friend at work who did this with her hair. It looked really cute on her. Not natural at all! But really cute.

And her highlights were not thin sections but big chunks. It was usually the pieces that naturally curled a certain way in her hair.

The only thing is that she recently quit doing it in an effort to look more "professional". That may or may not be something to consider.

It really depends on how you do them. I have dark blonde hair and I've done blonde and red lights before and it looked really great. Talk to your stylist. S/he can recommend some good reds and blondes that would go together. Don't forget to also consider your skin tone! But your stylist should know all about that.

Have fun!

My friend did that very combo on her brown hair, she looks amazing. I recommend it. But get a darker red and not too light with the blond.

It sounds like they would look cute as long as you don't go too blonde and bright red but a softer version of the two sounds fabulous.

I think it could look cool, as long as you're getting highlights that really blend well with your existing color. Stark highlights that stand out are a bit passe.

Depends on whether you want a subtle natural look or if you want to make a bold statement.
