My boyfriend and I are finally getting to that serious point in the relationship the problem is. He lives in Florida and I live in Georgia. I go to college so he is willing to move up here. Although he has two kids. I feel like their father shouldn't be pulled out of their life. He insist though because he only see's them every other weekend. Should I let him make this decision or should i tell him to stay there, so his kids will have their dad around?

I think that is very thoughful of you, that you are thinking about his kids like that, alot of women could care less and want their bf to go where they are regardless of kids or not.. my opinion is true, you are right children do need their father around, but if he says he see's them every other weekend then it should'nt be a problem with him moving to where you are, really it's his choice, and it seems like you are open minded enough and respectful enough to let him go visit them every other weekend. Florida and Georgia is not that far apart, well depending on what part I guess... But let him make the decision and you both can talk about it.. but good luck and your a good woman for him.

The answer is he needs to stick with his priorities. If his kids are the priority then he needs to be with them as much as possible and do his best at being a good father. On the other hand, if his priorities are with you then he should make it so that he bases his decision on whatever would make you the happiest. Then, not to dis your b/f but, he needs to learn to be a better father.

children need their father around, they have sporting and school events to attend as well as other things he should/want to attend.
The farther he moves away, the more removed he becomes from his kids. Also, a man who would be willing to move away from his kids is not someone who I would want. Talk about a lack of commitment.
