Italian Meatballs served over spaghetti served with a fresh salad.

Brown 1 medium onion in olive oil. Combine 1 pound ground beef and 1 pound bulk sausage in large bowl. Mix in 1/4 cup milk, 1 egg (lightly beaten), 1 teaspoon minced garlic, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley and onions. (I am never without salt and pepper, so I would add them.)

Form meat mixture into balls and brown on all sides in hot olive oil (about 10 minutes). Put the pasta sauce (I would prefer to make my own) in a large pan and heat until boiling. Add meatballs, stir to coat completely. Reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes.

While meatballs cook, make salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, celery and onion. Make dressing by thinning sour cream with a little milk. Cook spaghetti, drain.

Serve meatball/sauce over spaghetti with the fresh salad.
