A day, in the Genesis account, can mean an indefinite period of time. Since the sun and moon don't officially appear until the fourth day, it's difficult to assign a definite length of time to the term.

You just asked to question I have thought about for a while if forty of our years is one hour to HIM then one day is equal to 960 years. If this is true maybe its possible for the creation and evolution theory's to work together.


40*24= 960

We simply know it was anight and a day; especially Days 1, 2, and 3, according to Genesis 1.
