Acne seems to be cleared up in the summer and then come winter it comes up again. Not that much because I try to combat it by drinking lots of water. But why is my skin virtually clear in the summer AKA warm weather and has a few break outs in the winter AKA cold weather? Anyone know or go through this same thing?

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

the sun, the humidity, it dries up your skin so there is not as much oil as there is during the winter time. my bf goes through the same thing, the summer is great, drying his face out, back, whatever - but when the winter came around, hed have the break outs again - but when we go on vacation the heat, sun and the salt water (bc we go to the gulf) helps to dry it out more. but during the winter he uses nuetrogena blackhead scrub morning and night and it helps dry out any acne problems in the winter, also the Clean and Clear deep cleansing astringent helps during the day, if you feel oily, and clean and clear oil free dual action mosturizer is great for mosturizing so you dont COMPLETELY dry your skin out, but keep it hydrated. i hope this helps GOOD LUCK!

You are inside more in the winter, the environment becomes less clean. This is the same reason more people catch colds in the winter than in the summer.

Yes it does happen because the amount of sebum produced in the winter is a lot more, unlike in the summer it is less as it is hotter. Puberty causes more sebum to be produced, in later years it will decrease. Go to the doctos and ask for tablets or creams to help with the problem.

Because of the humidty in the summer. Your pores open up. I nthe winter they close up. I sugesst to use Acne Free you can get this at Walgreens or Wal-Mart. Good Luck

in the summer the warm air makes your pores smaller and in the winter the cold air makes your pores bigger. Therefore letting more dirt and grese into your pores, causing break outs.

in the summer you get more *rest* and more *exposhure to the sun* and people seem to be happier in the summer than in the winter acne mostly has to do with higene and stress.
