I have had a roast dinner in the fridge for 5 days, can I eat it?

Depending on the temperature of your fridge and how well wrapped the food is, I'd say no more than a week at most. Especially with the turkey, you need to be careful of food poisoning and ensure that you are re-heating the turkey to it's original cooking temperature.

I'd personally not leave food for more than 3 days.

3 days in the fridge, 3 months in the freezer

NO YOU CAN"T!! If you don't eat leftovers that you put in the fridge in 3 days throw it away. You don't want to risk getting sick.

i would not use anything over 3 days old
