I do the same thing! I haven't found a way to stop it from waving a little bit over night. That's just part of having wavy hair, and there are days that I'm grateful for that too. But there are some things that I do to keep it a little straighter.

First of all, when you straighten your hair, do it in sections. Start with the bottom section, blow dry, and then straighten. Work up to the top instead of drying all your hair and then straightening it all at once.

Do you use a shine serum when you straighten your hair? Not only does this make your hair look really sleek and shiny, if used with heat, it locks in whatever style you wanted to keep a lot better. Take just a dab and apply it to your hair, then straighten it and it will hold better.

Even after that, I still usually have a little wave in the morning. But I can usually just straighten that out with a couple licks of my flat iron in five minutes max.

Hope that helps.

Try to wrap your hair in a circular way then place a satin scarf on it. Wrap it tight and make sure no hair is sticking out. You'll look like a flatten cone head. If you have heavy hair use those flat clips like a the beauty shop to hold your hair in place. It may take a few weeks to train your hair to wrap, but it will keep your hair from frizzing up at night. When you take your hair down in the morning it will molded like you had it wrapped. Just comb in the style you want. The satin scarf keeps your hair shinny and strong. It will be less likely to break off.

as the others have said... just straighten it in the morning... i was the same way, i would do it before i went to bed and it would look bad in the morning, then i just started doing it in the morning and it looks so much better (and less flat)

what you can do if you don't want to do it in the morning is straighten it the night before and tie your hair in a silk scarf (my friend uses one and hers comes out good) then in the morning just do some touch ups..... oh and if some parts are still bad, put it in a half pony tail, just take parts from the sides and pull them into the back, that way the bad parts from the sides will be pulled back and the bad stuff from the back is covered by the pulled back hair (also leave bangs out to give it a cute look )

You could go to a salon and have your hair relaxed for perfect straightness, but then we're talking major chemical process. Try buying a satin pillow case- eliminates bedhead (seriously!) and is great for preventing wrinkles. Perhaps this can help. Still, it you get hot through the night, any moisture coming off your scalp will likely start kinking your hair up. You may have to resolve yourself to get up an hour earlier in the mornings.

straighten it in the morning laying on it all night messes it up but if you really don't wanna get out of bed then put a plastic bag over it tightly it will stop the pillow from rubbing and the plastic will move away not stick like the pillow

You can tie it up at night or straighten it in the morning. I always flat iron my hair in the morning so it will look fresh. Good Luck
