Clubs like Q-Bar and Bed and Supper club will check your ID and turn you away. Head over to the major dance clubs in Rachada and you will have your ID checked at Zeeds, Bali, Hollywood, maybe can get in at Motown.
There are many bars and things along Sukhumvit Road you can walk right in.
However, I think all the hot spots will let check your ID if you look underage.
This is because the Police often raid the clubs here, they raided Bali Saturday night and start randomly checking IDs and if you get caught, probably not a good thing.
Head over to Khan Sarn Road, world famous for getting any ID you might want to have in the whole world

As long as you look over 13 you will probably get in. Some of the really fancy and more upscale clubs may enforce the 20 age a little more, but more then likely at 18 you will not have a problem anywhere.

Depends when they doubt will ask ID card to check, allot of places in Bangkok today want to see ID card not only to check your age but mainly in case their are problems. In the past some shooting in discos and as visitors did not had ID cards difficult to trace who shoot.

Where are you from? If you are american or english you will get it fine. If you are oriental then they might not.
also depends on what 'nightclubs' you want to go into. In general the sex clubs will let you in no matter what

What do you want to do there? You might be better off at the pubs or bars instead of a nightclub.

Don't worry you will be able to get in and have a lot of fun but very important thing Do not take drugs,...Thai jail is not a good place to visit! trust me! :)
