Reading the label as to the proof of the spirit can shed some light on your question. 200 proof is 100% alcohol and 100 proof is 50% alcohol. There are some schnapps that have very high proof. Most vodka will have a very high proof as well. Being more specific will help with the correct answer.

If you purchase it at a grocery store, in the US, they will likely have the same alcohol content. Most states regulate the alcohol content that a spirit can contain, restricting the stronger stuff to licensed liquor stores.
If you purchase it at a liquor store, vodka will typically have more alcohol, typically around 40 percent. Schnapps is in the 20-30 range.
