Yeah, if you have been dating and are steady, in a serious relationship, you should introduce him to your family--surpirsed you have not at family get togethers like holidays. They are probably wondering why. If your family doesn't like him and is critical of him, you need to stand up for him and tell them that is not appropriate.

Try something casual to begin with, have him come over and just hang out for half an hour before you go out somewhere together (less pressure for a first off meeting), introduce him to the family etc. If that goes well, later on maybe get him to come over and do the whole dinner thing

i think that families always do that. just inroduce him as your boyfriend. cause they will critisize him anyways so might as well make a statement and i think if you didnt he would get really hurt by this and it would just save an arguement between the two of you
