there is this really shy guy that i've been crushing on all year. we never really talk...well, once online, and once because his friend was trying to hook us up for me...but he really doesn't talk to many people except his close friends. i catch him glancing my way every once in a while...but i probably do it more... tehe! he holds the door for me sometimes, he's in a few of my classes and homeroom...but we never talk...he knows i like him, his friend told him, but he didn't show up to the dance he said he'd dance with me at...the next day he sent his friend to ask me if i hated him...if he glances at me sometimes, but didn't show up to the dance for no other reason than that he didn't feel like it, but still cared enough to ask if i hated him...does he like me? did he really want to dance with me?

If he liked you, he would talk to you, he would have shown up at the dance, he would have danced with you. Period. Move on, find someone who will do these things. He asked if you hated him because he WANTS you to like him. End of story.

I bet he was just so nervous!!He does sound like he does like you ,just shy!you need to find out for sure,cos I'm certain that it will be doing your head in thinking about it.Just maybe ask if he is going to be on line tonight(whenever that may be)and say that you are,and that it would be great to chat .Then you can ask him a few questions and find out for sure if he likes you!Either that,or just ask him face to face when you can get him on his own,not in front of his mates ,cos you know what boys are like about that!
