One perhaps cannot help falling in love with someone, but that doesn't make a person's brain completely shut down. He is still accountable for his actions. If, for example, a married man meets and falls in love with someone other than his wife, he can still resist acting on the emotion of love out of respect for his wife, children, moral values, and standing in the community.
