You can't tell a puppies health from a picture and there is no guarantee that is the dog you'll be getting when you buy online.

Buy from a reputable breeder in your area and never buy a puppy sight unseen!

Yikes!!! What a tiny little guy! Sadly there is no way to tell if they are healthy by looking at a picture. If you won't consider a shelter dog, please, PLEASE at least go to a breeder in person to see the puppies and their environment and have a look at the mother dog.
I'm sure this is a reputable breeder, but I had a friend who bought on the internet and the pup arrived with parvo. Was fine the day it got here, got sick the next day and was dead by the third day.
I don't know if this is a chance I would take.
Would you buy a car without a test drive?

it looks healthy but u cant be certain until u meet the dog. make sure it is active and bright eyed.. if that was the price that was listed, it looked a lil high for a chihuahua(plus shipping is ridiculous). i would suggest finding one at a shelter... there are so many animals that need good homes that need a chance at life. most shelters cant afford to feed the animals for bout two weeks and if they dont find a home by then, they have to euthanize them.. im not saying this wont be a great pet for u but go to a shelter first.... wont spend a arm and a leg and u will be saving a life that needs a chance. good luck... if u want the dog, make sure u go see it before u buy it

He looks OK BUT I would never buy a dog without going to see it personally, see the conditions in which he has been raised & see him with his mum. Otherwise you have no idea that the pup you get is the one whose picture you saw. You will hopefully be sharing your life with this dog for the next 15-16yrs - it's worth taking your time & making sure you are not buying a heap of heartbreak.

Never buy a dog you have not seen in person. I've known people that have done this and ended up unhappy. You can't know some of the most important things about a dog without spending some time with it.

Gosh yes! That dog looks in good proportion and looks healthy! One other thing to look for in a healthy dog is his eyes. If his eyes seem dull instead of shiny, that's a bad sign. Also, if you meet the dog in person he should be acting like an active, hyper puppy!
Good Luck!

Are you really that stupid that you would buy a dog from someone you haven't met, never seen the dog, and know nothing about it??????????? That is an online puppy mill. You don't even know if the one in the picture is the one you are getting. You can get one of the same "quality" from the local classified section and it will be cheaper!!!!!!!!!!

Here is another sign of a "crap breeder"....they take PAYPAL!!!!!

Do you think good breeders have to sell their puppies this way....like e-bay for living creatures???????? SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first of all its a cutie

im sure you would b a magnificent pet owner

By experience, my neighbor used to breed them, it looks a resonible weight but from the angle i may be wroung. other than that it looks healthy. (not sure bout the eyes they could just be closed)
you should try getting intouch with the owner and gettin them to send you more pics and talk with them more about the dog so u can find out what her temperment is.

ps. IT's Cute with a capital C

No idea.

I'd suggest a dog from the Humane Society. Most are really friendly, and sweet. That way, you can have a wonderful pet and the Humane Society does not have to put one more animal "to sleep".

Yeh he looks nice and healthy to me.
There should be a good covering over the ribs as in you can feel rib cage but not see the ribs. Belly should not be distended (worms) but not too tucked in.
As I am australian can't tell you weight in ounces, but pup looks good.
