I work across from an abatoir and sometimes I see the trucks with the cattle going in. The poor things have no clue as to what is going to happen to them. Last night I had a lovely steak. Moral of the story: Just don't think about your meat as once being a cow, think of it as something that comes in plastic wrapping

Well if they were made out of fruit or vegetables they would still be eaten. It's only a small minority of people who say don't eat animals. If we were not supposed to eat meat then nature would have stopped us from doing it. Therefore, if it's okay with nature it's okay with me.

That's what I asked my mom and she gave me a good answer...she even showed me one of those PETA vids...
She said it's ok to eat meat, but they don't have to kill the animals in a way that makes them suffer. Ex : They were killing little animals to get the fur and meat, but they just hung the animal by the leg, and pulled its fur off...while it was still alive...those people are effing sick. So its ok to eat meat, but they should find a less painful way to kill the animals.
