It's beyond even that. Remember that after Adam and Eve messed up, god tried it with Abraham, with Noah, with Moses, with David, not to mention with all the lesser prophets. Eventually he decided that he needed to abolish the law, the prophets, and the old covenant which had too much "do this and don't do that" and replace it with something doable like "believe and ask forgiveness when you mess up."

Seems to me that if he had done that in the first place it would have been a lot simpler. In the words of Einstein, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Maybe that's why the bible is confused.

They were not cast out for eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They were cast out so they would not also eat of the tree of life and become like Yahweh. Besides, how do you expect Adam and Eve to know what they are to do is wrong (evil) before they know what good and evil are? But this story (when seen from an Eastern perspective) is a beautiful metaphor for falling into duality and having to find enlightenment. To much to explain here.

God sees the beginning and the end. He knows how you will chose or what you will chose. But that doesn't mean that He influenced their decision or yours for that matter. The fall of mankind was indeed a tragedy but God has provided a way of escape for all people. As far as your child drowning in the water, would you not have the child if he were to drown in the water, but was revived and lived? This has happened to people.

James 1:13,- 15 " When under trial let no one say " I am being tried by God. For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. For each on eis drawn out by his own desire. Then, the desire, when it become fertile, gives birth to sin,in turn sin, when it has become accomplished, brings forth death." Ok with that being said

A child has rules set down by the parents.. why? the parents provide the home so they have a say as to what goes on in their home. They gave them life and have been here longer and have the experiance to lay down the rules that will guide the child.

God created a beautiful home for mankind,, then he lovingly created mankind. He gave the first human couple ONE rule One, how many parents only have One rule?
There was a creation a spirit creature who allowed a wrongful desire to become fertile in his own heart and that being: the worship of humans for himself rather than to God, thus bringing up the question of soverienty in the universe as regards humans. God, NOT BEING A Fortune teller did give the first human couple choices. As do we all have choices. He has always told us the consequenses of those choices though.

Notice the account in Genesis 3:1-5

The serpent said to the woman . " Is it Really SO THAT God said you must not eat from every tree of the garden? At this the woman said to the serpent: Of the friut of the trees of the garen we May eat. But as for the tree that is in the middle of the garden God has said Yoiu must not eat from it no you must NOT touch it that you do not die. ( So she knew the One Rule) At this the serpent said to the woman, You Positivly will NOT Die ( 1st Lie)
For God knows that in the very day of your eating from it your eyes are boiund to be opened and you are bound to be LIke God KNOWING good and bad." ( called God a liar)

This spirit creature thus became Satan ( Liar) the Devil ( slanderer)

Suffering:

Human Error and consequences of Choices
Galations 6:7
" Do not be mislead for what a man is sowing this he will also reap. "

Proverbs 1: 3o, 33

" They did not consent to counsel,....The easygoingness of the stupid is what will destroy them."

The Role of Satan and his Demoms

Revelation 12:12
" Woe to the earth and to the sea because the devil has come down to you having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time"

1 John 5:19
" The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one"

Revelation 12:9
" So down the great dragon was hurled the original serpent, the one called devil and satan, who is MIsleading the entire enhabited earth, he was hurled down and his angels were hurled down with him."

I sense that you are outraged at the tradgedies we see all over as well you SHOULD BE! But please don't be angry at the wrong person.

But God hasn't left us without an out!!!!!

1 John 3 :16
" For God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten son, that anyone excersising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life."

2 Pet 3:9
" Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance."

Revelation 21:4
" And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. the former things have passed away."

What’s the point and bothering with the tree of knowledge in the first place? If he knew we were going to eat the fruit and still wanted us around, why not just create us with the knowledge in the first place? We still would have had free will. What’s with all the smoke and mirrors?

Best Question of the Day! Rec.!

"IF" God made the fruit..., he was like throwing poison in the Garden and "HIS" Children ate it!

They didn't KNOW GOOD FROM EVIL!!!

So...in a sense it's "HIS" Fault!

Think about it this way: Would you leave a fully loaded .45ACP sitting on the Kitchen Table? With a bunch of 5 Year old Children running around naked in the House?

You can tell the Kids a MILLION TIMES not to touch the Gun! What are the chances of the Children NOT to Fondle the Trigger!

So it's the PARENTS RESPONSEBILITY, not the Childrens!

But...NAAAHHHWW!

It's GOD! HE'S KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING!

Ya' right!

Klick....BLAAMMMMM!!!.....Thud....SCREAMS!

OMG!!! WHO THE FUNK LEFT THE LOADED GUN LYING AROUND????

i've asked this same question a 1000 times to myself!!!i've asked priests and religious leaders/people and their answers are usually the same!!!-free will!!!that also is not acceptable to me!!!i mean millions of people have been raped or murdered or tortured or died from sicknesses or even just death!!!children starving all around the world!!!! or was this a game between the devil and god to see who would get the most followers???or is there a flaw in what god can actually see or not see!???

good question!!!

Here is the explanation - please make me be wrong.

Although I "know" that you will not accept Christ in this life, and end up condemned to Hell forever, I tell you about Him, so when you do face judgment, you know that you had your chance. Then, on judgment day, you do not complain, because you understand that the judgment is correct. If instead, I just go ahead and judge you now, because I "know" how you'll respond, then on judgment day, you will say "But if I had been given a chance, I think I would have accepted Christ!"

God does know our hearts. And He knows who will and who will not accept His Gift. Still, He allows us the test - so WE will be satisfied of our response on Judgment Day.

God CAN see the future but He chooses not to look ahead of every choice we make nor determine our choices for us.

Saying "dont say free will" doesnt mean we dont have free will.. it just means you dont like that answer, because it answers the question.

I would compare it to having kids, knowing they will eventually probably rebel against you, but also knowing that the joy will far outweight the pain. Some people can handle the pain for the joy, others can't.

(And I wouldn't know about the children thing; I don't have any. But my parents did. :)
