Hi, everyone I am doing a science fair project and thought about buildinga robot that can lift about 10 000Pa(Pascals). Is there any type of motor/ or engine that can do it? I need something like a remote control type of thing

First of all, Pascals is a unit of pressure, and motors are rated in torque. I don't think you want a gasoline 'engine' for a robot. The type of motion you want would come from something like a stepper motor. For a 'remote control type of thing', simply buy a cheap RC car, remove the the (remote-controlled) switch from the motor drive (its motor is probably too week to handle your load), and integrate it with your stepper motor. We basically used RC components to close a mechanical relay and complete a circuit connecting the motor to a battery. But that was for a robot vehicle. You can do the same thing, or modify it based on your specs.

Pascals is converted, not to weight, but to pounds per square inch - it represents a pressure, not a weight. The conversion comes to approximately 1.45 psi. This is not a particularly large quantity - and a really good choice for a motor would be a salvaged motor from a cordless drill. It runs on a relatively low DC voltage, it's reversible, and power is from an easily obtainable, rechargeable battery. And it's got plenty of power to perform many tasks.

Your remote control concerns (transmitter, receiver and associated motor(s) controls) can be borrowed from the many available model RC vehicles on the market. Once these items are acquired, your imagination is free to go as complex or simple as you please with you robot's functions.
Your robot will be proud!
Good luck and have fun.
